Slimqa coffee: the sachet guide

Slimqa coffee, explained quickly

Slimqa coffee is a powder booster in single sachets, not beans and not pods. One sachet, one drink, one time per day. The label puts it as: "Take 1 sachet daily with water or coffee."

• What it is: Slim Coffee Booster powder
• Sachet: 2 g
• Box: 30 sachets
• Daily: one sachet
• Energy: 5 calories per sachet

Mixing it with your coffee

Brew your coffee as usual: drip, pour-over, espresso or instant. Then:

• Open a Slimqa sachet
• Pour the powder into the mug
• Stir until it is fully mixed
• Enjoy it, ideally alongside a meal

Mixing it with water

Coffee is optional. The label names water as the alternative, and one sachet mixed into a glass of water is a complete daily serving.

Water is handy in the afternoon, when another coffee would be one too many. Give it a good stir so all 2 g dissolve.

Instant, drip or espresso?

The label does not pick a brewing method; it just says coffee or water. So use what is already in your kitchen. A drip coffee, a pod machine, an espresso topped up with hot water or a spoon of instant all work as the carrier for one sachet.

What matters is the routine: the same single sachet, once a day.

How much caffeine you are adding

One Slimqa sachet brings 120 mg caffeine; the label states it in the facts panel and again in the warning. Mixed into a coffee, it adds to whatever that coffee already contains.

Drink several coffees a day? Choose one of them for the sachet, or use water instead on your busiest days.

The label also reads: "Not for children or pregnant or nursing women. Do not exceed 1 sachet daily."

Flavour and sweetness

Next to the five actives, the panel lists "Inulin (chicory root fiber), natural flavor, stevia leaf extract, black pepper extract." Stevia sweetens the powder, so you will not find sugar on the label. The actives themselves are on the Slimqa label page.

Since the sachet is already sweet, you may want less sugar in your cup. Milk and cream are your call; the label only mentions coffee or water.

Keeping the habit going

Easy ways to make one sachet a day stick:

• Leave the box beside the kettle or coffee maker
• Keep a sachet or two in your bag for the office
• Take one sachet per day when you travel
• Use water when coffee is not around
• Same time every day, ideally with a meal

• 2 boxes: two months, $28.99 per box
• 3 boxes: three months, $23.99 per box, $0.80 per day
